The cruciality of knowing poker hand odds could not be overemphasized, if one wishes to be a master of the game. Odds of each kind of 5-card set could be calculated by factoring in the proportion among all possible holdings. Here they are. After the name of the hand, I'll give the poker hand odds by mentioning the frequency (of it coming up) and the probabilities.
*Royal Flush (the king of all the winning hands)> 4 - .000154 percent *Straight Flush 36 - .00139 percent 4 of a Kind : 624- .024 percent Full house: 3744- .144 percent Flush: 5108- .197 percent 3 of a Kind- 54912 - 2.11 percent 2 Pair: 123,552 - 4.75 percent One pair: 1,098,240 - 42.3 percent The high card: 1,302,540 - 50.1 percent Take note, the Ace-low straights and Ace-low kind of straight flush are not to be counted in, and if they are not factored in, percentages for each get cut down.

I cannot say that compared to the other British online rooms- this is an exceptional one- Bet Fred Poker has many good tourneys being offered and competitive bonuses. Graphics of the software are nothing special, and if you wish for eye-popping graphics, you would be disappointed with this room. I for one however, am NOT disappointed, for Bet Fred Poker's navigation is so easy to utilize. The room has buddy lists, notes for tracking players, and others. One downside though: there is no mechanism that would segregate the FL from the PL games, and it could be a headache at times. Traffic: yes, they are still growing, and since they are catering primarily to the UK people, the UIGEA has very little effect on them. About two thousand persons is the average count for Bet Fred Poker. I mentioned tourneys earlier, the popular ones are the S&Gs, with buyins of just one hundred dollar or above. There are jackpot tourneys, there are freerolls, so, you could choose which competition you think would bring you that extra cash. Of course, Bet Fred Poker offers all the mainstream online games such as Omaha, Holdem. If you will read the other reviews, you would see them announcing that in this room, the fish are everywhere, not quite. While they are of course there, remember that where there are fish, there are sharks as well.

One enticement of the Net poker games is that rules could vary by a tad from one place to the next, from one Net room to another, yet maintain the most fundamental guidelines. Still and all, one universal set of rules exists, and for this very fact, thousands of books and online poker articles for beginners could be acquired from the Net. Let me say this without reservations, learn to play poker online free and you would not regret this. I am of course, talking to poker newbies, not necessarily gambling newbies (you could have been playing roulette for the past 200 years, and have grown tired of looking at The Wheel, you no longer have the Will to Look at the Wheel). These poker games help the newbies a lot, they learn this card game at his/her own clip using gratis software, and most particularly, even if you are quite broke, you need not stop your gambling urges. The free games would at least feed the hunger, until you've risen up from your financial troubles. This is also a good venue to meet somebody (read: the chatrooms of the sites). Really, learn to play poker online free, it would be worth the trouble.

To prove that I am not in the employ of Full Tilt, I will include famous poker players from their rival Ultimate Bet, and to prove that I am not in the employ of Ultimate Bet, vice-versa. Well here goes, from the barn of Full Tilt Poker: Chris Ferguson: he goes by the name of "Jesus", and if you have seen him in either person or pctures, you know why. This poker pro attended UCLA for so, so long, eighteen years to be exact. Erick Lindgren: he is known to constantly strive on getting better at the games. His attendance in the Full Tilt's team has enhanced his games and his fame even further. Mike Matusow: now we are cooking, rather he is talking, ENOUGH SAID. I have my favorite famous poker players, he sure is not one of them. From the barn of Ultimate Bet: Annie Duke: deservedly known at present as one of the strongest lady warriors on the face of the earth. Antonio Esfandiari: he is not called "the Magician" just for the hell of it, but because he truly is one. Not surprisingly, he does tricks (chips) in the course of poker action. Phil Hellmuth: one of the strongest in the world, and I can say that without reservations. His very first WSOP bracelet arrived at the age of twenty-four.

Do you think you always have to pay to play poker games on the Internet? Not anymore, because there's poker freerolls. When you go to play on a poker freeroll, you get to play poker at absolutely no cost, but you still get to bag real cash prizes. Simply put, it's like a tourney that is absolutely for free (of course, you still have to worry about the cash you'll shell out for pot money and stuff). Now, do you want to know where to find poker freerolls on the Internet? There is actually a website dedicated to providing us the latest scoop on poker freerolls, game calendar, and yes, comprehensive reviews on poker gaming sites that offer freeroll tourneys. We call that website Poker Freerolls Online. Just log on to www.pokerfreerollsonline.com to access it. So, you ask, what's on Poker Freerolls Online? That is, of course, aside from the ones already mentioned? Well, it's also got a poker forum where poker enthusiasts, whether they play on freerolls or not, flock to meet their fellows, chip in to private and league tourneys, and of course, talk about their common love--poker. You also get a chart that shows you the most current prizes at ongoing freerolls, and yes, poker room reviews.

Poker games in itself are already very entertaining, but poker games for free? That's got to be exhilarating! Add to that if the poker games are going to be online; now, all you have to do is prop yourself in front of the computer and you're all site. Therefore, we can say that free online poker games are fun, exciting, and convenient. Now, here comes the first concern: is it safe? The answer is, yes, they've got to be. Free online poker games providers have developed encrypted or protected software systems on their poker rooms to prevent third parties from accessing personal information that you might have inputted into the site. Also, most online poker gaming sites now give you the option to pay for services via secure online payment solutions services like PayPal, Neteller, and Click 2 Pay. That's double protection against unwanted transactions on your bank account or credit card statements. Free online poker gaming sites also provide just as much variety as the conventional paying sites. You still get to play your favorite Texas Hold 'Em game or other poker variants you may dream of. Usually, free online poker games are those that no longer require any downloading action.

When online strip poker sites first saw the light of day, I thought these wouldn't click that much because one has to perpetually go underground just to play them. Now, wonder of wonders, and I'm really ashamed I forgot that we're now living in a very liberated world. Strip poker sites online have already spread like wildfire, and they've become so common that it's becoming increasingly harder for parents to keep their kids' eyes shut. What a disgrace also for the members of the race of Eve. Anyway, when you log on to an online poker strip site, the first thing that may meet your eyes is a picture of a scantily clad woman. Don't be surprised or be abhorred or what. If you're enjoying what you're seeing, the site usually gives you an option to continue to viewing the entire site so that you can play poker with the lady of your choice. If what you see sort of harrasses you, that's not a problem--you just have to X out the browser screen. Sites like these are rated 18! Please take this into consideration. You'll be seeing lots of blunt, crazy, lewd pictures that really don't fit into the senses of people below 18 years old.

All right, here is another one of those nonsense strip poker sites over the Internet, this time guised in a name called foxy poker. But beware, fellows... if you think you'll actually get to play your favorite game of cards and chips in these kinds of sites, then you're very wrong. Instead, you'll be playing a different kind of poker--that one which entitles you to a different kind of "poking," with or without cards or chips, using incredible skill and stamina, that is, on a woman's body. I'm not after anybody's right to freedom of expression or of speech. I believe that we all have that right. It's not only in most countries' constitutions and laws of men, it's also in the laws of God (you know, the principle of free will). So, I don't want to inhibit foxy poker sites over the Internet from operating and making money out of their ass riding customers. But then, I'm a resident resident and a citizen of a democratic country, so I hope you guys won't say I'm abusing my right to free speech when I say I so abhor foxy poker. Devious, deceitful, artful, and subtle. These are words that best describe foxy poker. As crooked as the words imply, so is my perception of foxy poker, too.

Ladbrokes offers online casino, poker, sports betting, and bingo. So, you do it this way first: log on to www.ladbrokes.com. The poker feature's got your favorites: Texas Hold 'Em, Stud, and Omaha. Click on to the sports betting tab and you're led to a webpage that's very newspaper in style and loaded with all the information you need about the latest happenings in, say, the soccer match, you've been betting for, betting tips, and links to other games on Ladbrokes such as black jack, roulette, and deal or no deal. When you click on the online casino tab, you'll be mesmerized to find yourself in a page with cute graphics (oh yeah... am I catching the Brokeback fever?) and an amazing storehouse of games. The latest featured games include three-card casino poker, European black jack, hitman, roulette, European roulette, tomb raider, mega moolah, and bush telegraph slot. Go to bingo to play games such as morning cuppa, sofa so good, and bingo brunch.

In 1973, Benny Binion – grandfather of the modern World Series of Poker – participated in the Oral History Project at the University of Nevada-Reno and discussed the World Series with interviewer Mary Ellen Glass. "This poker game here gets us a lot of attention," he told Glass. "We had seven players last year, and this year we had 13. I look to have better than 20 next year. It's even liable to get up to be 50, might get up to be more than that." Binion then paused, and as if gazing into the future, prophesied, "It will eventually." With the introduction in the early 1980s of preliminary poker satellite competitions with lower buy-ins, Binion's prophesy came to fruition and the popularity of the World Series of Poker soared. But even Benny Binion, who passed away on Christmas Day of 1989, would have had trouble prophesying the massive growth the Horseshoe's annual poker tournament has experienced in the past decade or so. In 1982, nine years after Mr. Binion participated in UNR's Oral History Project, the tournament drew only 52 entrants. Five years later, the event attracted 2,141 entries, and in 2002 there were 7,595 entries. The prize money has also increased proportionately, from $7,769,000 in 1992 to a staggering $19,599,230 a decade later. Only 12 events were scheduled as recently as 1988, mostly Texas hold'em and seven-card stud. The 2004 tournament however offered 33 competitions, and featured a wide variety of poker styles. Today, the legacy Benny Binion left the poker community ranks as the oldest, largest, most prestigious, and most media-hyped gaming competition in the world, and no doubt it holds the promise of an even brighter future. But equally important, The World Series of Poker has touched thousands of lives over the years, affording talented players the opportunity to follow their dreams, reach for the stars, and perhaps one day achieve greatness in their chosen endeavor. /> In 1973, Benny Binion – grandfather of the modern World Series of Poker – participated in the Oral History Project at the University of Nevada-Reno and discussed the World Series with interviewer Mary Ellen Glass.
