I was at a friend's home poker party and I was mesmerized by the beauty of his poker tables. That makes me want to buy my own, too. Ever since the poker bug hit my group of friends by storm, I've been so incredibly hooked that if I only have the choice, I'll have an entire balcony or a yard alloted to poker and stud it with various tables.

How to zero in the best among the best poker tables? Durability and the ability to resist considerable wear and tear are important considerations. Poker tables come in either round or oblong shapes. You have the freedom to choose which style suits you best, as long as you bear in mind how many players you intend to seat on that table and how comfortable they should be. Now if a solid poker table is either too bulky or too expensive for you or you just don't have the space for it, you can opt for a poker table top. It's very convenient because all you have to do is put it on top of another table and presto!

Just a segue: I just got a valuable winning tip that I'd like to share with you guys. When you fight in a poker match, make sure you seat to the right of submissive or restricted players. I'm not sure if it works, but it doesn't hurt to give it a try.
