Oh my gosh! It's World Series of Poker season once more, and the fever and excitement is fast getting into my nerves. Good thing I live in the United States just a good few kilometers from where the venue at Las Vegas is, so traveling to and fro is not going to pose any problem. But, oh, tickets! Does the World Series of Poker event require enthusiasts to have tickets? My friends say yes, but one acquaintance tells me there's a promo via an
online poker site that gives free passes to the World Series of Poker. Either way, I MUST get to that event!
I fancy meeting, face to face, my all-time idol, Phil Helmuth, once again. And yes, I can still vividly remember how awestruck I got when the sultry Serinda of Absolute Poker fame sashayed into the glamorous poker hall. I'm actually crushing on her big time.
There are times when I dream that I'll be going to the WSOP not just to meet my poker idols but to actually beat them at a hand! Sigh. Will that ever come true? Perhaps it won't. But just recently, I heard Norman Chad announcing via ESPN that the World Series of Poker has a school which trains WSOP wanna-be's. Doesn't that sound cool? What do you think? Should I enroll?
